I’ll take a Scrubtini…

OMG you guys…this is my FAVORITE body scrub out there right now. This amazing scrub not only smells good, but it is incredibly hydrating! It has shea and olive butters in it, but let me share a little more about the other awesome ingredients in here that will leave you wanting to slather yourself in all its goodness!

Sugar is our exfoliator in this scrub. It’s very gentle on the skin…a lot less abrasive. Sugar is a natural humectant which means that it draws moisture from the environment and locks it into your skin keeping you nice and hydrated. It’s also know as a natural source of Glycolic Acid (an AHA) which helps break down dead skin cells and encourages fresh cell turnover (or that HEALTHY GLOW!)

Lemon Verbena Oil...now I had no idea this actually had a benefit. I thought it was just a Bath and Body works scent haha, but believe it or not it helps relieve puffiness from the skin AND it helps soften your skin! WHAT?!?!!?

Virgin Coconut Oil is one of my faves. It helps speed up wound healing and is extremely hydrating. It has natural anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties and absorbs quickly into your skin. LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff.

Sunflower Seed Oil is rich in antioxidants and loaded with vitamin E & fatty acids like Omega-6 which protects and nourishes your skin. It prevents pre-mature aging (ummm hello….I wanna stay young…lather me up!), sun damage and infections!

Some tips when using this yummy scrub:

* BE CAREFUL!!! Floor is slippery when oiled! Haha…all these incredible oils do wonders for the skin but can make the surface you’re scrubbing on very slippery. So be aware!

* Exfoliate before you go in for a spray tan (I’d probably use bamboo renew for the spray tan since its less oily). You want smooth exfoliated skin when you go in for any spray tan services. What happens is the product will build up in the areas you have more dry, rough skin. So make sure to exfoliate.

* After you have body waxing done, make sure to use an exfoliator 1 or 2 times a week to help keep ingrown hairs from forming.

* Loofahs and brushes can collect a lot of bacteria on them, so use a washcloth to was your body and your scrubs to exfoliate.

SCRUB ON MY FRIENDS!
